- The Kingpinless Series 92 semi-steel cast iron casters come in these wheel sizes and mounting heights – 6” wheel (8” mounting height), 8” wheel (10-1/2” mounting height), 10” wheel (12-1/2” mounting height) and 12” wheel (15-1/2” mounting height). Machine hubbed, providing a long lasting, high capacity wheel capable of easy rolling under heavy loads. Less expensive than steel, semi-steel is abrasion resistant, rugged and performs in temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Weight capacity ranges from 2000 lbs on the 6” caster, 2500 lbs on the 8”, 3000 lbs on the 10” and 3500 lbs. on the 12”.
- Top plate measures at 5-1/4" x 7-1/4" with a bolt hole pattern of 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" to 4-1/8" x 6-1/8" and can either be bolted or welded on.
- Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle. Combining both brake types ensures complete immobility over both swivel and wheel on the caster.

In addition, the Kingpinless design features ½” diameter HRC45 steel ball bearings which absorb thrust and load in severe environments. Lastly, Service Caster’s Series #92 top plate casters are finely crafted with zinc plating, grease fittings, and 4 position notches to accept 4-position locks. These highly versatile casters are ideal for a wide range of applications, such as dollies, platform trucks, warehouse carts and freight terminals.
